What are Ripple Pods?

Ripple Pods are cartridges filled with our patented extract that are optimized to print on a variety of foams and made from natural ingredients. Ripples offers Coffee, Malt, Black Carrot, Glow, and Chameleon extracts for all Ripple Makers, and the Ocean Blend (formerly Chameleon Plus) and Jungle Blend kits for the Ripple Maker II Pro. All pods are safety certified to comply with international regulations.

How many prints can a single Ripples pod produce?

Ripples pods produce up to 300-2000 prints. Actual quantities may vary depending on multiple factors, including pod type, design type (high opacity & large images use more ink) and storage conditions such as temperature and humidity

What is the shelf life of the Ripples Pod?

Like any food product, pods have a limited shelf life and will remain fresh for a month after opening. Expiry date for unopened pods is written on the Pod’s box

Can I use different types of pods with the same device? Are Ripples pods interchangeable?

Your Ripple Maker has been calibrated for all types of pods. All pods fit for any Ripple Maker device. However, Ocean Blend and Jungle Blend are two-pod kits and so are only available for the Ripple Maker II Pro

Do Ripples pods need to be refrigerated?

No. Ripples pods should be kept at regular room temperature, not in a refrigerator. Keep the unopened Pods in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight

 

Does the Ripples pods extract have any allergens?

No. Ripples pods extracts are completely Gluten-free, non-GMO, 100% vegan, and free of other allergens like: dairy, soy, and nuts.

Are Ripples pods kosher?

Yes. Ripple pods are certified kosher. The Pods are not kosher for Passover.

Do Ripples food safety certifications comply with industry regulations?

Yes. Ripple Pods are tested, regulated, and certified in accordance with the most relevant and rigorous global food safety standards, including:

  • HACCP – Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points is a systematic preventive approach to food safety from biological, chemical, and physical hazards in production processes that can cause the finished product to be unsafe; HACCP designs measures to reduce these risks to a safe level. Its principles are included in the international standard ISO 22000 FSMS 2011.
  • FSSC – Food Safety System Certification demonstrates that a certified company has a robust Food Safety Management System in place that meets the requirements of its customers and consumers.
  • ISO 9001:2015 – The ISO 9000 family addresses various aspects of quality management and contains some of ISO’s best known standards.

Does adding Ripples affect drink taste?

Not at all. Whether it’s a latte, a milkshake, or a gin flip – our natural ingredients do not affect the drink taste. The coffee-based extract has a subtle aroma of coffee, and the malt extract is completely odorless.
